Since we bought the Tesco breadmaker, we had never once buy bread from the grocery store anymore. Whatever kind of bread, you name it! The breadmaker can do it for you. Even though I love to bake, it's the kneading part that I hate the most. Because it's tiring and I am.... Fill in the blank yourself, hahaha. But the breadmaker can do all of this for you. All you have to do is pour in the ingredients and switch on the Start button. It takes only 5 minutes for you to prepare.

Combination of food.

I had already posted in this blog the recipe for Homemade Mushroom Soup that we served for our guests. So, now is the time to share the recipe for baking French Bread. Well, if you can call it a solid recipe, because the breadmaker is the one doing it on your behalf. Thank you Tesco Breadmaker! I chose to bake the French Bread because the crust is thicker so it would be perfect for eating with soup.

French Bread - The Breadmaker series

1 1/3 cups of warm water
(I used 1 cup of mineral water and another 1/3 cup of hot water)
1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
2 tablespoons of sugar
4 cups of bread flour (Recommended brand - Diamond)
2 teaspoons of yeast
*In whatever situations, do not let the yeast be near the salt.

All you have to do now is pour all the ingredients into the breadmaker pan, by following the sequence. From wet stuffs to dry stuffs. Before you add in the yeast, make a hole with your index finger.

This is the video I made while preparing the ingredients for this French Bread. Have a look!

Fresh from the oven.

Slicing the bread.

If you can see this spongy holes in your bread, that means you bread turns out to be perfect.
